Matchtech is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to lead electrical safety on high-hazard environments within the defence and engineering sector. You will act as a subject matter expert for HV/LV systems, ensuring Safe Systems of Work are compliant and robust and that JSP 375 requirements are applied across projects.
Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will mentor other Authorised Persons, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
Competenze
- Current SAP certification in HV/LV electrical systems.
- HNC/HND in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Mansioni
- Lead Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) improvement programmes across sites.
- Develop and improve electrical safety standards aligned with JSP 375.
- Provide technical guidance to Authorised Persons and teams.
- Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Support closure of audit findings and drive corrective actions.
- Mentor and develop current and aspiring Authorised Persons.
- Act as electrical safety lead for projects needing SAP input.
- Promote best practice and a strong safety culture.
