Capgemini in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior SAP Datasphere & Business Data Cloud Consultant to lead the design and implementation of modern SAP data platforms across clients. Who you'll be working withYou will join Capgemini's SAP Data & Analytics Practice, a rapidly growing team helping some of the world's leading organisations modernise their enterprise data landscapes. Working alongside SAP solution architects, data engineers, analytics consultants and business transformation specialists, you will play a key role in delivering next-generation SAP data platforms built on SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP S/4HANA.As part of Capgemini's wider SAP Centre of Excellence, you will collaborate with global delivery teams and technology partners while supporting clients across multiple sectors, including Financial Services, Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, Utilities and Public Sector.The focus of your roleAs a Senior SAP Datasphere & Business Data Cloud Consultant, you will lead the design and implementation of modern SAP data and analytics solutions that enable organisations to unlock value from both SAP and non-SAP data sources.You will advise clients on data strategy, architecture, governance and analytics transformation programmes while helping organisations transition from traditional SAP BW environments towards SAP's strategic cloud-based data platform.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the design and implementation of SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud solutions.Designing logical and physical data models to support enterprise reporting, analytics and AI use cases.Building semantic business layers and business-ready data products within SAP Datasphere.Developing data integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur and non-SAP applications.Advising clients on SAP data modernisation strategies, including BW, BW/4HANA and cloud migration roadmaps.Delivering data federation, replication and virtualisation solutions using SAP Datasphere capabilities.Supporting analytics and reporting initiatives leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.Collaborating with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Leading workshops, solution design sessions and client demonstrations.Supporting pre-sales activities, proposal development and client bids.Providing technical leadership, mentoring junior consultants and promoting delivery excellence.Contributing to Capgemini's SAP Data & Analytics capability development and innovation initiatives.Remaining current with SAP's strategic data and AI roadmap, including Business Data Cloud, Joule AI capabilities and SAP's Business Data Fabric approach.What you'll bringEssential Skills and Experience:Strong hands-on experience delivering SAP Datasphere solutions in enterprise environments.Experience implementing SAP Business Data Cloud or equivalent SAP cloud data management technologies.Strong understanding of SAP's Business Data Fabric architecture and data product concepts.Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources into cloud analytics platforms.Strong data modelling expertise, including analytical models, semantic layers and virtualised data architectures.Experience designing and implementing enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and business processes.Experience with SQL, data transformation and data integration technologies.Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.Experience leading workshops, requirements gathering and solution design activities.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.Experience working within Agile delivery environments.Proven experience mentoring junior consultants and leading workstreams on large transformation programmes.Desirable Skills and Experience:SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation experience.Experience with SAP BW, BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics expertise.Knowledge of SAP HANA, SQLScript and native HANA modelling.Experience with SAP Data Intelligence or SAP Integration Suite.Understanding of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).Knowledge of data governance, metadata management and data quality frameworks.Experience supporting AI and machine learning use cases using enterprise data platforms.Public Sector, Defence, Financial Services or regulated industry experience.Experience with hyperscaler cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.SAP certifications in SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or Business Data Cloud technologies.Additional InformationHybrid Working: This role follows Capgemini's hybrid-first model, with a blend of home working, Capgemini office locations and client-site attendance depending on project requirements.Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening checks, including right-to-work verification, employment history validation and criminal record screening where applicable.What we'll offer youYou will be encouraged to have a positive work-life balance.
