Senior Salesforce Developer

Fully Remote - UK based

Up to £90k + private pension & other benefits

Great opportunity to join a small Salesforce team as their Senior Salesforce Developer. Working for a relatively small but growing financial services company which is expanding their Salesforce platform.

They're looking to hire a Senior Salesforce Developer passionate about building and optimizing solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales and Service Cloud - Enterprise Edition). You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce applications that drive business efficiency and growth.

They are primarily focused on Invocable Actions and building custom REST APIs via Apex. Some PHP development experience is useful, as they have existing applications built on PHP.

Excellent communication skills are needed to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You'll play a key role in leveraging Salesforce technologies to streamline processes and deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building custom REST APIs via Apex
2. Utilising invocable actions within Salesforce
3. Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
4. Develop and optimize complex workflows, triggers, and automation processes to enhance productivity
5. Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of Salesforce environments
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Key Skills and Experience:

1. Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer
2. Proficiency in Salesforce development languages: Apex, Visualforce, LWC
3. Experience building custom REST APIs via Apex
4. Experience working within a small Salesforce team with full responsibility for platform development
5. Deep understanding of Salesforce customization tools and declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder)
6. Understanding of other development tools and platforms, including PHP and Laravel
7. Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices and CI/CD tools is a plus
8. Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
9. Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
