Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Sales Operations Manager who will become Head of Operations Sales, leading the unification of sales, marketing, and CRM systems across two recently integrated businesses. This pivotal role is suited for someone who thrives on structure, process, and making a commercial impact.

You will work at the core of a leading energy intelligence company, integrating teams, tools, and data across the sales cycle—from order entry to invoicing, renewal workflows, and insights.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive the company’s data and CRM strategy across the combined businesses.
  2. Assist sales and marketing teams in optimizing the CRM system, including data selection and research.
  3. Collaborate with finance to develop forecasting and reporting processes for sales and revenue.
  4. Manage all incoming contacts and leads, ensuring preferences are up-to-date within the CRM, categorized by channel.
  5. Establish efficient processes for order and invoice management.
  6. Implement a comprehensive sales order system covering order entry, permissions, invoicing, and billing.
  7. Create a customer operations process for managing renewals (SWOT analysis).
  8. Develop and execute CRM campaigns such as win-back, reactivation, and preference center follow-ups.
  9. Generate reports and establish best practices for campaign analysis, lead volume, and funnel metrics.
  10. Maintain dashboards for sales targets, pipeline, marketing opportunities, and custom team metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in transforming business performance through data and database strategy.
  2. Deep understanding of HubSpot and marketing automation systems.
  3. Experience managing teams across different jurisdictions.
  4. Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Experience in data mining, list building, and data management.
  6. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  7. Exceptional communication skills, capable of working across multiple teams and securing stakeholder buy-in.
  8. Industry experience in energy, oil & gas, or chemical sectors is desirable.
