Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Sales Manager to lead growth in a remote role with monthly travel to the Cheshire office. You will drive new business, manage pricing and margins, and shape go-to-market plans while overseeing a growing commercial team.

The role requires senior sales leadership in a technical or regulated industry, with proven ability to grow revenue and manage tender processes. Remote working is offered with regular travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experienced senior sales professional and commercial leader with strategic sales experience.
• Experience in a technical or regulated sector is preferred.
• Proven ability to directly grow new business and pipeline.
• Experience with formal proposal and tender processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Broaden the company’s customer base, focusing on life science private sector clients.
• Direct delivery of sales targets for new customers and cross-sell to existing customers; lead from the front.
• Oversee and build the commercial team and performance.
• Identify and contract international distributors and resellers.
• Own go-to-market plans for new products and define product positioning.
• Develop marketing plans aligned with commercial goals and manage marketing partner.
• Review tenders and proposals, including public-sector procurement frameworks.
• Remote working with monthly travel to Cheshire office.
