Job Opportunity: Senior Sales Manager

The role is based in London, with UK domestic travel expected for client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of Institutional Clients, including Insurance, Asset Managers, Financial Sponsors, and Hedge Funds, both inbound into the UK and UK-headquartered clients requiring domestic or global services.
  2. Partner as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ businesses and sectors to align cash management solutions across HSBC’s network.
  3. Collaborate with HSBC teams across markets and functions to develop solutions and sales proposals.
  4. Conduct client analysis to identify business opportunities and develop pipelines.
  5. Develop business plans and strategies in consultation with Corporate and Institutional Banking Coverage.
  6. Achieve financial and non-financial targets, focusing on new sales revenue, client retention, and growth.
  7. Coordinate with GPS Product, Liquidity, Client Implementation, and Integration teams to ensure smooth deal transitions and revenue realization.
  8. Advise clients on market developments, trends, and regulatory changes that may impact them.
  9. Maintain sales records to monitor performance.
  10. Represent HSBC at industry events, conferences, and roadshows, and support publication of case studies and press articles.
Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience in global cash management services, with knowledge of the sector, payments landscape, trends, and regulations.
  • Experience managing complex clients and deals across multiple countries.
  • Knowledge of Treasury and Finance Operations.
  • Deep understanding of cash management solutions, including payments, receivables, e-channels, reporting, reconciliation, and liquidity management.
  • Proven sales success with large/complex transactions.
  • Motivated, achievement-driven, with strategic sales planning skills and ability to work under KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills at all management levels within HSBC and client organizations.
