About the Role
As a Senior Sales Executive at FIS, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This position focuses on promoting our market-leading Core Banking solutions to Banks and Financial Institutions, helping them modernize operations and enhance customer experiences. You’ll be part of a high-performing team, working in a dynamic fintech environment where innovation and client success are at the heart of everything we do.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow revenue across core banking and payments portfolios.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
- Lead complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, marketing, and solution consulting—to deliver tailored, high-impact client solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
- Represent FIS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the FIS product suite.
What You Bring
- Proven success in enterprise sales within financial services, with a focus on selling to Banks and Financial Institutions in the UK & Ireland.
- Strong domain expertise in Core Banking systems
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence C-level executives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for fintech innovation and client success.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and delivering results in a quota-driven environment.
