About the Role:

The Senior Sales Engineer position collaborates with our selling teams to ensure our customers have the support needed to implement Digital.ai solutions and achieve their desired outcomes as quickly as possible. Reporting to the Vice President of Professional Services, this role is responsible for collaborating with peers in Field Selling teams, Services Practice Leaders, and Channel Partners to develop implementation strategies/proposals tailored to individual customer needs. Deployment Architects work to develop strategies and operations to deliver best-in-class services and help customers realize their vision for the future operations of their business.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers to discover business objectives, preferred implementation strategies across the entire Digital.ai portfolio.
  • Develop deployment plans to shorten customer time to value, reduce implementation risk, and achieve customer objectives. This activity will involve collaborating with sales teams, channel partners, and service leaders to define service proposals.
  • Document service proposals in Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Support project initiation activities and enable project fulfillment team on goals for project
  • Periodically you may be asked to deliver a service engagement.
  • Provide input on customer needs to help service leaders develop service offerings aligned to enterprise and commercial market segments.
  • Act as an evangelist for services, assisting sales with selling and serving as an executive sponsor for our strategic customers

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing, leading and/or delivering professional services
  • Experience developing professional services proposals in the IT software industry
  • Experience managing technical, cross-functional professional services teams (e.g., consulting, implementation, trainers, project managers) and delivery partners to fulfill services engagements.
  • Experience as a member of a consulting team implementing an Agile or DevOps transformation
  • Experienced with software development lifecycle, agile, DevOps, analytics, application security, software development tools/technologies, and/or cloud platforms.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills. Strong executive-level visual and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to be an evangelist for Digital.ai Products and Services
  • Ability to travel 30%
