Job summary

Heron Foods in Netherfield, Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to lead and support store operations with a focus on customer service. This 16-hour-per-week role places you in a key leadership position, ensuring the team delivers exceptional service while maintaining presentable shelves and stock integrity.

You will be responsible for motivating the team, resolving customer queries, and stepping in as a keyholder during openings and closures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team and delivering strong customer service.
• Ability to act as a keyholder and manage store operations in absence of management.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior leadership experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you’ll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
