Job summary

Heron Foods is hiring a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to help run the store and lead the team when needed. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, managing stock, and ensuring the shop floor is well-presented.

This position offers a 16-hour week with a pay rate up to £13 per hour, including enhancement for management duties. The role includes leadership responsibilities, a support-driven environment, and opportunities for development through training and leadership

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and professional leadership mindset.
• Strong work ethic for a fast-moving retail environment.
• Previous leadership experience in retail or hospitality.
• Experience as a key-holder is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
