Job summary

Heron Foods is recruiting a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to lead and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help drive customer service excellence, supervise team members, and step into keyholder duties when needed.

Your role includes motivating the team, maintaining great store presentation, assisting with stock and deliveries, and acting as a point of contact for customers. 16 hours a week with a £13 per hour cap.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Strong customer-service mindset and professional demeanor.
• Ability to juggle tasks and take ownership in supervisory roles.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you’ll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
