Job summary

Heron Foods in Ashton-in-Makerfield is seeking a Senior Sales Assistant to support and motivate a busy shop team. This part-time role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and contributing to daily operations.

You will handle stock, assist with deliveries, and act as a keyholder when needed, including opening and closing the store. The position offers a supportive environment with development opportunities and competitive hourly pay up to £13.

What You'll Do:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
