Job summary

Heron Foods is recruiting a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant to lead and support a busy store in Tees Valley. You will motivate the team, uphold excellent customer service, and ensure the store is well-presented with stocked shelves. You may oversee deliveries and assist with stock management.

As a part-time senior role, you may act as a keyholder, taking responsibility for opening/closing when required and supporting store operations while reporting to the management team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a busy store.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you’ll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
