Job summary

STARK Group’s Jewson branch in Cheadle is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to build lasting customer relationships and drive sales. You’ll advise on projects, cross-sell products like Project Estimator and Tool Hire, and manage quotes with a focus on quick responses and accurate CRM entries.

You’ll work Monday to Friday 7.00am–4.30pm, with every other Saturday 8.00am–12.00pm, developing knowledge across product lines and collaborating with the local team to maximise margins.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Experience in identifying current and future customer needs.
• Ability to cross-sell products and services to increase revenue.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a sales environment.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers to identify needs, including onboarding new accounts.
• Provide expert advice and tailored solutions, focusing on cross-selling Project Estimator and Tool Hire.
• Deliver prompt quotes and follow up on leads to drive sales growth.
• Support campaigns and promotions to increase sales, margin, and service levels.
• Collaborate with external sales teams to understand local market needs.
• Own each sale from start to finish and seek margin opportunities responsibly.
• Stay updated on core and specialist product lines to assist customers and colleagues.
