Job summary

Wolseley Group, Inverness-based, is seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to handle customer queries, source materials, and drive branch sales while building strong customer relationships.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service and staying informed about product developments in the plumbing & heating sector.

Qualifications

• Good all-round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry (commercial and domestic factors).
• Understanding the demands of working within the merchant industry.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration to improve service levels.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
• IT, numeracy and analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders.
• Proactively contact customers to build relationships and drive branch sales.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends and industry changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials, check availability and negotiate costs.
• Serve customers on the trade counter with product recommendations and quotations.
