Qualifications

Overview

Our top Oil & Gas client is looking for a Senior Safety Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Basingstoke.

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Safety Engineer, who will be required to work on a Permanent basis in Basingstoke.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Safety to act as part of the Safety and Environment team across projects, potentially acting as the Project Discipline Leader on individual projects. You will be advising projects on HSE regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Production of project safety and environmental deliverables (HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy, ToR’s for Safety workshops, waste management plans etc).
• Attending safety workshops (HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL).
• Safety action management and sign off.
• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders as required.
• Acting as Project Discipline Lead (PDL) for projects, ensuring deliverables are issued to support the project schedule.
• Providing technical support on HSE matters to other disciplines.
• Technical review of contractor documentation.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications
