Job summary

Hampshire County Council in Havant is seeking a Team Manager for the Adults’ Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will lead a vital safeguarding service, coordinating with police and health services to respond to referrals and uphold Making Safeguarding Personal.

The role requires line management, strategic planning, and complex multi-agency coordination. SWE registration, strong leadership, and robust risk assessment are essential.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
• Extensive experience managing complex cases and supervising others.
• Strong leadership to influence, motivate and manage teams.
• Deep knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment abilities.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management to the team, oversee workloads, and drive quality and development.
• Lead the team to deliver excellent safeguarding interventions.
• Take responsibility for key decisions on escalations and complaints.
• Engage in strategic planning to maintain high service standards and drive improvements.
• Coordinate complex multi-agency work with partner agencies using robust planning.
