Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Named Nurse/Professional for Safeguarding Adults to lead, develop and implement safeguarding and public protection agenda across the Trust. You will coordinate MARAC, MAPPA and related activities, while working with services and colleagues to promote prevention and response to safeguarding concerns.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration in health or social care.
• Competency-based teaching qualification or evidence of teaching/training experience.
• Masters level or equivalent in the specialist practice area.
• Experiential or academic training in leadership and management.
• Post-registration qualifications in the specialist area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communication and coordination of safeguarding activities across the Trust.
• Coordinate the activity of Safeguarding Adults and Public Protection team and link professionals with the Named Nurse for Children.
• Provide highly specialist advice to maintain standards of excellence in safeguarding.
• Promote wellbeing and safeguarding by implementing safeguarding policies across the Trust.
