Manor Church of England Academy is seeking a non-teaching safeguarding professional to lead on child protection within the Child Protection Team. The role involves ensuring safeguarding aligns with guidance, working directly with pupils on protection plans and enabling safe, thriving outcomes for looked-after and care-experienced pupils.

Collaboration with social workers, police and community services is essential.

• Experience in safeguarding and child protection within an educational setting.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects concurrently.
• Strong collaboration with social workers, police and community services.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on child protection issues across the academy.
• Keep safeguarding arrangements in line with statutory guidance.
• Work directly with pupils on protection plans and early help.
• Support care-experienced and looked-after pupils to feel safe and thrive.
• Collaborate with social workers, police and youth offending services.
• Apply safeguarding models and frameworks used by the Trust.
• Attend meetings outside school hours as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain safe practice.
