Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead client implementations of our core SaaS platform from kick-off to go-live across Edinburgh/Glasgow. You will manage multiple vendor-led SaaS projects, keep scope, timelines and budgets on track, and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires strong governance, experience with hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery, and proven ability to coordinate matrixed teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering vendor-led SaaS implementation projects.
• Experience managing external clients / 3rd party customers.
• Strong governance with risk and issue management.
• Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle and best practices.
• Collaborative with pre-sales through to delivery and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of client implementations of the core SaaS platform.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans for multiple concurrent projects.
• Apply hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Track progress, milestones and momentum across a portfolio.
• Run status meetings and document decisions, risks and actions.
• Mentor and motivate junior Project Managers.
• Resolve blockers and client escalations to a positive outcome.
• Raise risks and propose mitigation.
• Create core project documents (charters, plans, logs, test/runbooks).
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Delivery and Marketing to grow referenceable clients.
• Forecast resourcing needs for company planning.
