Job summary

Randstad Financial & Professional is seeking a Qualified Accounting professional to lead the Record-to-Report (RTR) compliance function for our client on a permanent basis in the UK. You will oversee governance activities and ensure timely, accurate VAT, CIS and statutory reporting.

The role focuses on reviewing VAT/CIS returns, statutory accounts, and driving regulatory compliance while supporting strategic RTR initiatives and offshore team collaboration across UK operations.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience.
• Deep knowledge of UK Tax, VAT, and CIS compliance processes.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Review VAT and CIS returns prepared by offshore team before submission.
• Review statutory financial accounts for accuracy and proper formatting.
• Ensure tax and regulatory deadlines are met with precision.
• Support RTR priorities and strategic initiatives across the business.
• Lead offshore team governance activities and ensure regulatory alignment.
