Job summary

CRA Consulting in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Fast Track RTA Fee Earner to handle non-MOJ claims and move into more technically challenging liability disputes within a supportive Personal Injury team.

You will manage your own caseload from progression to settlement or litigation, with hybrid working and opportunities to develop your litigation skills and advance your career within a well-established claimant practice.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an own RTA Personal Injury caseload.
• Comfort progressing matters independently with some litigation exposure.
• Strong negotiation and case management skills.
• Good understanding of CPR and the litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy fast-track RTA caseload from progression to settlement or litigation.
• Maintain client relationships throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Investigate disputed liability and handle complex liability arguments.
• Review medical evidence and assess quantum.
• Draft schedules of damages and negotiate settlements with insurers.
• Instruct counsel and medical/legal experts as needed.
• Prepare Directions Questionnaires and court documentation.
• Identify when litigation is required and progress to court proceedings.
