Job summary

The London Metal Exchange Limited seeks a strategic Head of Risk Oversight to lead the Group Risk Management team in the UK. This senior role reports to the CROs and ensures robust second-line oversight across enterprise-wide risk, resilience, governance and reporting for LME and LMEC.

You will drive consistent standards and credible challenge, with strong leadership of governance artefacts and MI delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in financial markets with risk oversight experience.
• Experience leading risk management teams and second-line defence functions.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and governance.
• Strong ability to communicate with senior management and the board.

Responsibilities

• Translate CRO strategy into clear plans, milestones and accountabilities.
• Lead risk reporting, MI and risk dashboards for senior management and regulators.
• Maintain risk standards, appetite and governance across LME and LMEC.
• Provide second-line challenge to first-line functions and oversee operational resilience and technology risk.
