Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) seeks a strategic Head of Risk Oversight in London to lead Group Risk Management. You will report to the CRO and support both LMEC and LME CROs, translating strategy into practical delivery, ensuring robust governance, and delivering timely risk insight to senior management, the Board, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Background in financial markets, risk oversight, governance or change risk.
• Experience leading risk management teams.
• Experience in a second line of defence role.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for the Group Risk Management team and deliver on CRO strategy.
• Maintain and improve risk standards, appetite, and policies across LME and LME Clear.
• Own risk reporting, MI and risk insights for senior management and regulators.
• Strengthen risk governance processes, committee effectiveness and escalation pathways.
• Provide second-line challenge to first-line functions and engage with regulators and boards.
