Job summary

AEGIS London is seeking a Risk Manager to work in hybrid mode with the Head of Risk to embed and enhance the Risk Management Framework across the London operation. You will identify, assess and report key risks, ensuring regulatory alignment with Lloyd's and PRA expectations.

Reporting to the second line of defence, you will lead risk event tracking, maintain risk registers, support RCSA processes, and help develop risk appetite and KRIs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated risk management experience across Lloyd's/London Market.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with senior management and stakeholders.
• Proactive, well-organised and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of prudential regulatory requirements (Lloyd’s, PRA, FCA) and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Risk Management Framework and promote risk awareness.
• Coordinate high-quality risk reporting for committees and stakeholders.
• Maintain risk and control registers aligned with risk profile.
• Lead RCSA processes across business functions.
• Oversee risk event reporting and incident monitoring.
• Update risk policies and procedures.
• Support development of risk appetite, tolerances and KRIs.
• Identify emerging risks and conduct deep-dives.
• Embed stress and scenario testing and ORSA processes.
• Engage with regulators and support Lloyd's assessment.
