Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking a Risk Manager / Senior Risk Manager to support delivery of major, complex programmes across Energy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources. You will lead risk management, run workshops, design processes, maintain risk registers, perform QCRA/QSRA, and report to senior stakeholders. Candidates with strong leadership, governance, and NEC3/4 contract experience are preferred. Travel to client sites may be required, with professional qualifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or programme risk management on complex capital programmes.
• Ability to translate risk data for senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading risk teams on major programmes (senior roles).

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement risk management processes tailored to projects.
• Facilitate risk workshops with SMEs to identify and review risks.
• Create and assure risk registers.
• Challenge risk data to improve quality.
• Develop measurable mitigation actions and track progress.
• Conduct QCRA/QSRA and risk modelling; interpret outputs.
• Produce clear risk reporting for stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with Planning, Cost, Change and Project Controls.
• Support baselines and change control processes.
• Engage with contractors to capture supply-chain risks.
• Promote good risk management practice across teams.
• Act as SME and lead risk teams on major programmes.
