Job summary

CMR in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join the Project Controls team. The role is hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days at the Suffolk office) and full-time, starting immediately, with a salary of £70k-£85k.

The Senior Risk Manager will develop and implement risk management and reporting capabilities across client projects, collaborating with project management and commercial teams to enable successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Essential: Relevant experience within a project management or project controls environment.
• Essential: Experience in major construction projects.
• Essential: Detailed understanding of risk methodologies, mitigation processes & techniques within an enterprise environment.
• Essential: A technically minded individual to comprehend technical approaches and articulate them to a wider audience.
• Essential: Comfortable challenging assumptions and processes to improve delivery of performance data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Management and Commercial Teams in delivering effective risk management to enable the project to deliver its objectives.
• Facilitate risk workshops to ensure the relevant exposure is captured across the project.
• Manage and maintain risk registers by guiding team members on defining risk causes, events, and impacts; assessing the likelihood and impact of the risks; developing appropriate, cost-effective, and timely responses to risks.
• Support the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
• Establish and foster working relationships with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure a mature risk culture is developed across the organization
