Job summary

Capstone Investment Advisors is seeking a Senior Risk Engineer (Senior Vice President) to design and build investment-facing risk and decision-support tools. This hands-on role blends software engineering with risk analytics, staying close to code, data and users from problem to production.

You will work with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and Quant Research to turn complex risk data into actionable insights across stress scenarios, VaR, margin and exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, quantitative development or risk tech in finance.
• Experience designing and supporting production-grade risk, pricing or trading systems.
• Strong programming and data skills with APIs and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and own production-grade components of Capstone's Risk Technology platform.
• Build APIs, data pipelines and interactive tools for risk analysis across strategies.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and Quant Research to solve complex risk challenges.
• Translate pricing and risk methodologies into scalable services with controls and validation.
• Advance Risk Intelligence by turning research and analytics into actionable investment insights.
