Job summary

OQC is seeking an RF Engineer to design, develop and optimise RF solutions for quantum computing systems. You’ll work in the Advanced Product Development team, taking RF concepts from requirements and simulation through prototyping, characterisation and deployment.

You will design RF circuitry, PCBs and packaging, optimise microwave performance and collaborate across hardware teams to integrate solutions into OQC's technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related discipline.
• 4–10 GHz RF/microwave experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing passive RF systems and PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuitry, PCBs and packaging for quantum control and readout systems.
• Translate requirements into RF designs delivering signal performance while managing EMI.
• Prototype, test and characterise RF solutions using microwave analysis tools and lab instruments.
• Optimise signal integrity and microwave I/O performance through iterative design and testing.
• Collaborate with hardware, engineering and supply chain teams and support installations in the UK and internationally.
