Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Oxford is seeking a Senior AIT RF Communications Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering RF payload integration and test campaigns for space-derived programmes. You will oversee tests from integration through to environmental qualification and acceptance, ensuring schedules, quality, and cost adherence.

Candidates should have a strong background in satellite communications and hands-on RF testing, with experience in link budgets and RF chain verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in RF payloads, satellite communications, aerospace or telecommunications.
• Experience leading or supporting complex integration and test campaigns.
• Strong understanding of RF communication systems and satellite architectures.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of multidisciplinary AIT engineers through full integration and test campaigns.
• Perform payload integration activities and RF payload verification and testing.
• Carry out functional testing, performance verification and end-to-end payload testing.
• Support link budget validation, RF chain characterization, redundancy testing and interface verification.
• Develop test scripts, monitoring tools and automated test solutions.
• Produce and maintain AIT documentation, including procedures and reports.
• Raise, manage and support non-conformances through the review process.
