Job summary

Teledyne Microwave UK is seeking an RF Engineer to Lead RF front-end design projects for radar systems in Lincoln. You will design RF components and multi‑function assemblies and provide technical input to the broader team while engaging with customers to deliver ready-to-use solutions.

The role requires experience up to 40 GHz, familiarity with CST/HFSS and other microwave tools, and the ability to obtain SC level security clearance. A robust compensation package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Accomplished RF/Microwave Design Engineer with FE protection & waveguide limiters experience.
• Experience designing RF microwave components for Defence/Aerospace.
• RF design up to 40 GHz.
• Proficient with CST/HFSS and other microwave tools (AWR/ADS).
• Security clearance up to SC level required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and development of RF components, systems and multi‑function assemblies (radar receiver protection, switches, systems, converters, transceivers, amplifiers).
• Provide technical input to other disciplines for complete project delivery.
• Support customer visits with product expertise.
