Job summary

FINTEC Recruit is seeking an experienced Senior Radio Frequency Microwave Engineer to join their client’s engineering team in Edinburgh, delivering advanced RF/microwave designs for airborne radar systems. You will contribute to design, development, integration and testing on technically challenging radar projects.

The role involves delivering high-quality RF/microwave circuitry and could include supervising junior engineers within the project team.

Qualifications

• Honours or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related STEM with RF/Microwave focus.
• Extensive experience in RF/microwave circuit design for aerospace/defence applications.
• Experience delivering high-quality microwave circuits and supervising junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, commissioning and testing of microwave circuitry for complex airborne radar systems.
• Support hardware and system-level integration and verification activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Provide regular project progress updates and potentially supervise less experienced engineers.
