Job summary

Sepura Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer to design and develop innovative RF electronics for mission-critical radios, spanning TETRA/LTE, GSM and related technologies. You will own RF circuitry design, schematic creation, testing and integration with digital subsystems.

The role requires collaboration across departments, thorough conformance testing, and travel; a full driving license and passport are needed. Strong hands-on RF PCB skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with RF design, testing and conformance.
• Proven hands-on PCB design and RF layout skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical requirements analysis, design (down to discrete level) and specification of RF circuitry, evaluation and sourcing.
• Complete subsystem design, implementation and validation through to Approved product.
• Schematic creation and PCB layout supervision.
• Integration with Digital, Audio, and MMI subsystems.
• Test definition design and documentation.
• Root cause analysis of failures with updates to design to resolve faults.
• Type approval support to ensure compliant products.
• Collaboration with all relevant departments to deliver high quality engineering solutions.
• Support where required for defining/creating new products.
