Qualcomm Technologies International Ltd. in Farnborough (UK) is seeking a Senior Staff RF/Analogue IC CAD Engineer to lead CAD environments, flows, and methodologies for RF and analogue IC design.

You will mentor engineers and influence CAD strategy across the team, with opportunities to influence long-term CAD direction. The role requires Cadence-based workflow expertise, SKILL automation, Python scripting, and collaboration with foundries on PDK updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in ASIC/IC CAD flows for RF/analogue design.
• Proficiency with Cadence-based RF/analogue CAD environments.
• Strong scripting and automation (Python, SKILL).
• Ability to collaborate with foundries on PDK updates and process nodes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Cadence-based CAD flows for RF and analogue IC design, including schematic capture, simulation, layout, and verification.
• Develop and maintain SKILL/SKILL++ scripts to enhance productivity within Cadence Virtuoso.
• Own and manage physical verification flows (LVS/DRC/PERC/ERC) and sign-off across the design cycle.
• Collaborate with foundry partners to integrate PDK updates and ensure robust CAD infrastructure.
