Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies International Ltd in Farnborough, UK (or Sophia Antipolis, France) is seeking a Senior Staff RF/Analogue IC CAD Engineer to lead CAD environments, design flows, and methodologies for RF and analogue ICs.

You will develop Cadence-based flows, SKILL automation, manage simulation frameworks, and mentor engineers across the team; participation in design reviews and long-term CAD strategy will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
• 6+ years of ASIC/IC CAD design experience and related work.
• Master's degree or PhD may reduce years of industry work requirement.
• Strong knowledge of RF/analogue CAD flows and verification tools.
• Proficient in SKILL scripting and CAD automation; leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a senior technical leader in a complex IC design environment.
• Deliver robust, scalable CAD flows and methodologies.
• Solve CAD and design-flow challenges across multiple process nodes.
• Fully competent in Cadence RF/analogue CAD environments and verification.
• Lead CAD strategy with engineering leadership; mentor engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure timely delivery of CAD infrastructure.
