Job summary

Mills & Reeve is seeking an experienced Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor to join our national practice, based in Manchester or Leeds. You will advise on both contentious and non-contentious matters, working with lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners. You should have at least 8 years PQE and a track record of building client relationships, leading teams and managing high-value transactions. The role offers opportunities to develop a national practice across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrable ability to win work from clients
• Ambition to build and develop a national restructuring & insolvency practice
• Experience mentoring junior team members and supervising matters
• Strong technical background with excellent drafting and verbal/written communication
• Ability to assimilate complex information quickly and focus on key issues

Responsibilities

• Provide non-contentious advisory and transactional restructuring & insolvency work
• Collaborate with corporate, finance and real estate teams on high-value matters
• Lead day-to-day fees earners and manage transactional work
• Build and maintain client relationships and generate new business opportunities
• Work across offices to develop national practice growth
