Job summary

Digital Catapult in the UK is seeking a Senior Responsible Innovation Manager to embed responsible practice across the organisation and its partners, working at the intersection of innovation, deep tech and societal impact. You will translate regulatory and ethical considerations into actionable guidance, lead risk-aware projects, and build capability across technologists, partners and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in tech ethics, governance, or related field.
• Experience embedding ethical, legal, and social considerations into AI or data projects.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver responsible innovation outcomes.
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical audiences; training delivery.
• Experience producing guidelines, checklists, or impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert advisor on responsible technology across Digital Catapult.
• Advise on human-centred and responsible approaches with technologists and partners.
• Lead responsible innovation across programmes and mentor teams.
• Provide risk assessments and training for organisations.
• Monitor compliance with emerging standards and regulations.
