Job summary

Digital Catapult Group is seeking a Senior Responsible Innovation Manager to embed responsible practice across our organisation and with partners. You will work at the intersection of innovation, deep tech, and societal impact, translating ethics into actionable recommendations.

You will engage technologists, legal and executive stakeholders, guiding responsible innovation across AI, data, and emerging technologies within research projects and external collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to technology ethics, governance, or law.
• Experience embedding ethical, legal and social considerations into tech development.
• Ability to engage multidisciplinary teams and deliver responsible innovation outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on responsible technology innovation across Digital Catapult.
• Provide strategic guidance to project leads to integrate ethics and risk management from the outset.
• Conduct risk assessments and training on responsible innovation for partners.
• Monitor compliance with standards, regulations, and emerging industry requirements.
• Engage with academic partners on responsible innovation and technology risk research.
