Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced cardiopulmonary care under a physician's orders, serving as a resource to CRT staff and leading clinical projects as assigned.

You will perform testing, administer medications, document care, participate in quality initiatives, and may float to other departments as needed. Must have NBRC-approved program, RRT, state license, BLS and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
• Education from an accredited program; degree will be verified.
• Current state license as Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing and arterial blood gases per protocol.
• Administers medications safely and evaluates effects.
• Documents care and maintains productivity records per standards.
• Promotes respiratory care and mentors staff within department.
• May float to other departments as needed and participate in quality initiatives.
