Job summary

George Eliot Hospital is seeking a Specialist Respiratory Physiologist to join our Physiological Sciences Department. The post involves a wide range of respiratory, sleep and oesophageal investigations for outpatients and inpatients, with ARTP Part 1/2 qualification and at least 2 years post-qualification experience.

The role demands excellent communication, organisational skills and the ability to deputise for the Lead Respiratory Physiologist.

Qualifications

• ARTP Part 1/2 qualification with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Qualified to perform a broad range of respiratory and sleep investigations.
• Experience in oesophageal tests and advanced respiratory services.

Responsibilities

• Independent practitioner performing, interpreting and reporting respiratory tests.
• Undertake specialised respiratory & Sleep investigations to aid diagnosis and treatment.
