Job summary

Your World is seeking a Respiratory Physiologist to join the NHS-facing recruitment network in the UK. The role includes routine lung function tests, sleep studies, ABG/CBG, and CPAP reviews, with a focus on clinical accuracy and patient care.

You will support junior staff by reviewing results, conducting tests, and completing proformas, then assisting with GP letters using preset templates. NHS experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for engaging with colleagues and patients.
• NHS experience is essential and a fully compliant file is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ARTP Part 1 and 2 credentials are required.
• ARTP Part 1 and 2 required.
• BSE in Clinical Physiology or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Review lung function results and support junior staff.
• Perform tests such as spirometry, gas transfer, and exhaled nitric oxide.
• Complete clinical assessments using standardised proformas and draft letters to GPs using templates.
• Prepare letters to GPs detailing test outcomes using templates.
