Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our respiratory physiologist team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Position: Band 7 Senior Respiratory Physiologist

Location: Wexham Park Hospital, with future placement at the new Slough Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) opening in early 2026.

The role involves providing diagnostic testing within the Respiratory Investigations Unit (RIU) and developing services such as sleep assessments and lung function testing.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing specialist clinical respiratory measurements according to ARTP/BTS guidelines.
2. Interpreting and reporting diagnostic results.
3. Assisting in developing and managing the physiology team.
4. Providing education on spirometry and lung testing.
5. Supporting the development of a sleep service, including assessment and patient support.
6. Working within a multidisciplinary team, including performing sleep studies.

Requirements:

1. BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
2. Completion of ARTP part 1 and 2.
3. Registration with RCCP or working towards it.

Working hours are from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday, with flexible working patterns available.
