Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is recruiting a Specialist Grade in Respiratory Medicine on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. The post joins colleagues in a dynamic medicine service across Pembrokeshire, with support to develop and contribute to NHS Wales’ vision.

You will work with consultant colleagues in General Medicine and Respiratory, with responsibility for prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and you will engage in training, appraisal and clinical governance.

Qualifications

• Full registration and a Licence to Practise with the General Medical Council.
• Valid Certified Advanced Life Support (ALS/ATLS/PALS).
• Minimum of 12 years' experience since primary medical qualification with at least 6 years in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide General Medicine and Respiratory care with subspecialty development.
• Collaborate with consultants to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to clinical governance, supervision, and professional standards.
