Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Greater Manchester is seeking a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our residential valuation team, conducting property inspections and producing valuations for loan security, asset management and advisory purposes.

MRICS qualification or equivalent residential valuation experience is required; strong report writing, full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the patch; Proficiency in MS Office and Argus Developer or similar appraisal software.

Qualifications

MRICS qualification with proven residential valuation experience or similar work in residential sector.
Excellent report writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within designated patch.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Undertake site inspections and prepare comprehensive valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
Manage a varied caseload of residential properties including houses, flats, new build developments, and portfolio valuations.
Provide market analysis and commentary on local property trends, comparable evidence, and risk factors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to quality assurance processes (Senior Surveyor level).
Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and agreed turnaround times.
