Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Senior Surveyor or Associate for the Affordable Housing team within UK Residential Value and Risk Advisory. The role is based in London with hybrid working and some national travel.

You will lead complex portfolio valuations using DCF models, maintain client relationships with lenders and borrowers, demonstrate strong Excel and report writing, and support junior colleagues as part of the delivery team.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification (essential) and 1-6+ years’ PQE.
• Strong experience in the valuation of property assets using DCF, either residential property or other asset classes.
• Fluent user of MS Excel, including data analysis and some financial modelling.
• Experience in coaching junior colleagues, and supervising their work.
• Excellent written English, with the ability to produce high quality, accurate reports in MS Word with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for complex portfolio valuations of social housing throughout the country.
• Sustain and enhance client relationships, and active business development in the social housing sector.
• Explain and justify the approach and assumptions adopted to clients, including lenders and borrowers.
• Mentor and supervise junior colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
