Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for a children's home in Derbyshire. The role combines hands-on care with shift leadership to ensure smooth operation and safeguarding.

You will lead shifts, mentor staff, manage safeguarding concerns, and support children to build confidence and life skills while working within a compassionate, safety‑driven team.

Formación

• Experience working within a children's residential care setting.
• Senior RSW experience or readiness to progress into a senior role.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and professional judgement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
• Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the home.
• Providing high-quality, child-centred care and emotional support.
• Acting as a positive role model for young people and colleagues.
• Supporting children to develop confidence, independence, and life skills.
• Mentoring and guiding Residential Support Workers on shift.
• Managing safeguarding concerns and promoting safe practice.
• Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Building strong relationships with families and partner agencies.
• Contributing to care planning and achieving positive outcomes.
