Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Town Planning Manager for a Leicester-based team. You will report to senior planning leadership and manage a portfolio of residential planning projects from site appraisal to consent and delivery.

The role requires strong planning knowledge, commercial awareness and stakeholder management, with opportunities to shape strategic sites and contribute to land acquisition decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• MRTPI membership or clear pathway towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage planning applications for residential development (outline, full, reserved matters).
• Assess potential development sites including planning histories, policy considerations, constraints and opportunities.
• Develop and implement planning strategies for immediate and longer-term sites.
• Prepare, coordinate and review planning statements, supporting documents and other material.
