Job summary

enable Legal Recruitment Specialists are assisting a law firm in Stanmore to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal. The role offers a salary of £40,000–£50,000 and requires you to manage your own caseload without being a qualified solicitor.

You’ll handle residential conveyancing from instruction to post-completion, maintain client updates, and work with solicitors, agents and lenders to progress transactions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Residential conveyancing experience with the ability to manage your own caseload.
• Strong understanding of the process from instruction to post-completion.
• Confidence communicating with clients and resolving issues as they arise.
• Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Someone based locally to Stanmore, with a straightforward commute to the office.

Responsibilities

• Handling a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Reviewing contracts, title documents and searches.
• Raising and responding to enquiries and preparing reports for clients.
• Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other parties to progress transactions.
• Managing exchange and completion arrangements.
• Ensuring post-completion requirements, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications, are dealt with.
• Maintaining accurate, compliant files and working towards agreed billing targets.
