Job summary

Dove Adolescent Services in Pontefract is recruiting Senior Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our Pontefract home. You will create a warm, safe environment and support young people aged 8-18 through daily care, activities and safeguarding.

We offer sleep-ins, training and development, and opportunities to progress to Level 5 and into trainee and Registered Manager roles. Dove is an equal opportunities employer with a strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a children’s residential home.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathetic, patient and resilient.
• Flexible with hours including sleep-ins and weekends.
• Good IT and record-keeping skills.
