Job summary

Jab Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a subsurface team in Aberdeen, leading reservoir management, production optimisation and field development activities for UKCS assets.

You will integrate reservoir and production data, build and update dynamic models, and identify opportunities to maximise recovery and asset value, working with multidisciplinary teams to support decision-making at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Extensive upstream reservoir experience.
• Experience with Eclipse, P.E. Harmony.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead reservoir engineering across UKCS assets.
• Build and interpret dynamic reservoir models.
• Analyse data to improve recovery and asset value.
• Develop production forecasts and assess uncertainties.
• Provide input into field development planning and investment decisions.
• Collaborate across Subsurface, Wells, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Communicate findings to senior management and JV/regulators.
• Support continuous improvement and best practices.
